"National Hispanic Heritage Month" Paul Pazen Ready to Lead Community Through Opportunity
Denver, CO -As we celebrate Hispanic and Latino independence during National Hispanic Heritage Month, Paul Pazen sees the occasion as a time for reflection. "For me, it's a special moment to commemorate my heritage, history, and the impact Hispanic Americans have had on our shared culture."
This national recognition also lets Pazen reaffirm his commitment to removing barriers to economic opportunity for many residents, which is central to his priorities as a representative of District 2 residents on the Denver City Council.
Pazen says, "My vision of upward mobility ensures that every person in Denver — regardless of where they start - has a real pathway to build a better life for themselves and their
families." He sees that path as including access to:
Neighborhoods where residents feel safe
Housing that is attainable for first-time homebuyers and families
Vital services for seniors and veterans to support their stability
Career training, mentorship programs, or apprenticeships in skilled trades
Ready to Lead on Day One
Pazen knows that building a strong city requires removing obstacles to progress. With 27
years of experience in Denver law enforcement, he has worked with every city department.
"I know how to get the job done, and I'm prepared to do it."
